Youtube was creating a series of 15 minute Countdowns for their Creator Tool. We took reference from both the historically aesthetic nature of time representation (mechanical and electromechanical timekeeping devices) as well as modern and contemporary art (Sol LeWitt) to create something that blends functionality, abstraction, and beauty.

We approached the project by creating a series of new takes on timekeeping that we could potentially see in our homes. Something that can be understood and follows a strict logic, but not bound by physical limitations.
