We had fun creating a generative design system for technology start-up, smlXL. The name lended itself to some exciting visual concepts. We wanted to illustrate scale, exponential growth, and momentum in a playful way and using only the 5 characters – smlxl. We started with a motion behavior and then developed a custom tool for efficiency, consistency, and control. We can import images, video, and live cameras and can export a range of formats for both digital and print.
